The story of multi-instrumentalist Rahsaan Roland Kirk; who went from blind infant, to child prodigy, to adult visionary, to political activist, and finally to paralyzed showman. Kirk, was a seemingly superhuman musical force who played literally until the day he died. Filled with excellent period documentary footage and testimonials from Jazz giants on the legacy of Kirk, the film is a long-overdue look at a true musical giant.
